Our crematorium and memorial grounds
Moray Crematorium stands on a site that has been home to a church for over 200 years. The current building was rebuilt in the Gothic style in 1886, as Enzie South Parish Church and is now listed. When the crematorium opened in June 1999, many of the church’s original features were carefully preserved, including the Wadsworth pipe organ and the church bell. This is a respectful place to hold a meaningful funeral. Set in six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, we offer a peaceful retreat for visitors, with thoughtfully designed spaces where families and friends can gather.
A chapel for all faiths and beliefs
Converted from a spectacular Gothic church, our chapel at Moray Crematorium has wooden pews and high, arched ceilings. We can seat up to 170 guests and accommodate a further 80 standing. Speakers in the foyer and covered entrance extend the space for larger funeral services. The chapel is equipped with a state-of-the-art music system to play pre-recorded music of your choice. We also have space for singers and musicians too.
