Our crematorium and memorial grounds
Opened in 1995 and dedicated by the Lord Bishop of Coventry, Heart of England Crematorium has become a trusted place to hold a meaningful funeral. Our bright, modern chapel is set within 13 acres of carefully maintained grounds, where a pond with koi carp and a flowing brook create peaceful spaces for reflection. We're proud to welcome local wildlife too, with hedgehog houses and bird boxes nestled throughout our thriving wildlife areas.
A chapel for all faiths and beliefs
Our spacious chapel features wonderful architecture that brings warmth and light to every funeral service. A large feature window offers beautiful views of the countryside all year round. There is comfortable seating for up to 105 guests, with additional room for larger services. Our modern sound system is available to play music of your choice, or, if you would prefer live music, we have room for singers and musicians too.

A compassionate team to support you
If you need support to arrange a cremation in Nuneaton, or nearby areas such as Coventry, Hinckley, Bedworth or Rugby, we work with local funeral directors, faith leaders and celebrants across Warwickshire. Heart of England Crematorium's chapel in Nuneaton accommodates up to 74 parking spaces with dedicated accessible spaces, and is equipped with a music system, screens for visual tributes and webcasting for those joining remotely. A waiting room, vestry for clergy and fully accessible facilities are also available. If you'd like to tour the crematorium and memorial grounds, please call us to arrange an appointment.

Cremation services at Heart of England Crematorium
We offer attended and unattended cremation services at Heart of England Crematorium
An attended cremation
Where family and friends come together for a funeral or memorial service in our chapel. You can personalise the service with music, readings and tributes. Loved ones will be able to spend a few moments with the coffin before leaving the chapel.
An attended direct cremation
This option enables families to attend the crematorium to see the coffin in the chapel. Although there is no funeral or memorial service, you can choose the music that is playing and will be able to spend a few moments with the coffin.
An unattended, direct cremation
A direct cremation means there is no funeral or memorial service in the chapel, and no mourners in attendance.

Our fees
All cremation fees at Heart of England Crematorium include:
• The use of our chapel
• A single tribute photo displayed on screen throughout the service (not available for attended direct cremations)
• The use of our state-of-the-art media system to play music of your choice
• All services relating to the administration and registration of the cremation, in line with statutory regulation
• Certificate of cremation
• Provision of a container for the ashes
• The option to witness the scattering of the ashes within our Gardens of Remembrance, or preparation of the ashes for collection
