Our crematorium and memorial grounds
Our beautiful chapel at Haltemprice Creamtorium is a Grade II listed building. Built in the early 1880s and thoughtfully refurbished in 1998, it retains many of its original architectural features. From the vaulted ceiling to the seasoned roof timbers and gothic brickwork, this is a striking backdrop for funeral services. The chapel overlooks our memorial gardens, which blend seamlessly with the surrounding countryside. The grounds offer a quiet place for reflection, and include roses, rockeries and a peaceful pond for our koi carp.
A chapel for all faiths and beliefs
With a backdrop of arched windows, gentle lighting and warm brickwork, this is a grand, yet welcoming space for family and friends to gather for a meaningful funeral service. There is seating for up to 200 guests, and room for a further 100 guests to stand. Our modern sound system is available to play music of your choice, or, if you would prefer live music, we have room for singers and musicians too.
