Our crematorium and memorial grounds

Once part of the Northbrook Park Estate, our grounds at Exeter & Devon Crematorium carry a rich history. After serving as a civil defence headquarters during World War II, the site was developed into a crematorium which opened in 1963. Since then, we have served generations of local families. Set within 14 acres of carefully maintained grounds, our two chapels offer peaceful spaces to come together and celebrate a life. Our Garden of Remembrance features a lake, rose garden and established trees, plus a flock of white fantail doves who also call the grounds home.
