Established in the early 20th century, Streatham Park Cemetery sits at the heart of South London, beside South London Crematorium, a landmark site with more than a hundred years of dedicated service to the local community. Its beautifully landscaped grounds feature tree-lined avenues and peaceful burial spaces set among nature, carefully designed to offer families a place of calm and quiet reflection. A chapel for all faiths and beliefs
St George’s is a traditional chapel at South London Crematorium with wooden pews, providing seating for up to 150 guests.
Our team, many of whom have served here for years, bring compassion, professionalism, and a deep sense of duty to every service. From chapel attendants to technicians, each plays their part to ensure every farewell is handled with care and respect.

We have supported many families whose service was held at South London Crematorium. The staff were calm, respectful, and everything ran smoothly — a real help at such a sensitive time.
Afterwards, some families chose to scatter the ashes at sea, particularly for Hindu rites where clean waters are preferred. South London Crematorium provided a peaceful and dignified starting point for that final journey.

I would like to mention Ana, who is truly a credit to the crematorium. She is always kind, patient, and incredibly helpful to not only us as funeral directors, but most importantly to the families.

We held my father ceremony at the crematorium a couple of weeks ago.
Anna was so kind and patient with us, she showed us around the chapel twice, going through every details with us, always with a smile.
We could see that she cares about her job. On the day, she remembered everything we talked about and took the pressure off us.
When we changed the date to Sunday, Anna and the team were very accommodating too.
We honestly couldn't have chosen a better crematorium. The surroundings is beautifully maintained and the large car park is a bonus.
