Our cemetery and memorial grounds
Established in 1889, Enfield Cemetery has been a place of remembrance for generations of local families. Set within 55 acres of grounds, our cemetery has been an important part of Enfield community’s heritage for over a century. We’re proud to serve families from all cultural and religious backgrounds. We work closely with group leaders and families to accommodate their wishes and requirements, from burials, through to memorials.

Burial plots at Enfield Cemetery
We’re honoured to be adding more burial plots at Enfield Cemetery, offering more choice and flexibility. In London, burial space is increasingly limited, and we want to both support families who wish to stay together and create space for individuals plots. Whether you are planning ahead for yourself or organising arrangements for your family, taking time to consider your options now can offer clarity, comfort, and peace of mind for the future.
Our grave options
Traditional graves
Traditional graves allow for a full kerb set (a headstone with a stone surround ) alongside personalised memorial designs. A classic and enduring choice that can be tailored to reflect the individuality of your loved one.
Above ground vaults
Above ground vaults are secure chambers designed to hold coffins or ashes at ground level, offering long-term protection in a dignified setting. (Our vaults are located at Wood Green Cemetery)
Private family burial gardens
Private family burial gardens are designed to give families a place they can feel connected to for years to come. They offer a private and gated resting place for burials (and ashes), with full flexibility on the internal design and memorials included.
Memorials at Enfield Cemetery
A memorial is a lasting place to pause, reflect and remember, and it should feel as unique as the person it honours. Our memorial specialists will talk you through the options, from traditional headstones and kerb sets to fully bespoke tributes, so that you can find something that feels right.
Memorials can also be pre-purchased, giving you peace of mind that your wishes will be met, while taking the emotional and financial pressure off your loved ones.
A chapel for all faiths and beliefs
Our peaceful chapel provides a welcoming and flexible space for both cremation and burial services, allowing family and friends to come together in comfort. For occasions where more people wish to be present, outdoor speakers ensure that everyone feels included and part of the service. A modern sound system is available for playing music of your choice, and if you would prefer live music, the chapel can also accommodate singers and musicians, helping you create a truly personal and meaningful farewell.
